I began teaching ice skating at the age of 17 in my hometown of Naperville, IL. For the past 5 1/2 years in the Dallas area, I have coached at the Dr Pepper StarCenters. I have experience teaching students from the very first time they set foot on the ice, all the way to coaching national competitors. This also includes a large age range--from 2 year olds to 60+! I am a member of ISI, USFS, and PSA; and I am a CER Category A compliant coach.

I am a Senior national competitor in Ice Dance and a national competitor in Synchronized Skating--in total competing at the national championships 9 times. I have trained with World and Olympic coaches in Chicago; Aston, PA; and Dallas. I have my USFS Gold Medal in Ice Dance and Moves in the Field.

Sessions are typically 30 minutes. The lesson is entirely designed around the specific skater's level and goals. All individuals learn in different ways, so there is an effort to provide auditory, visual, and kinetic teaching methods. Beginning skaters will focus on learning proper technique and learning skills progressively. Advanced/competitive skaters will begin lessons with basic technique and then work on applying those techniques to their current testing skills or competitive routine.
