More About Coach Kenny

I was the Assistant coach for a NCAA Division 3 school, Principia College. Conducted one on one skill development sessions with all the players each week. Allowed me to build a relationship with the players and work on specific skills tailored to their game. Worked with every player on the team from point guards to centers, know drills to improve at each position. Also, coach young local town teams while at Wellesley High School. Stronger emphasis on the basics and fundamentals when working with them. Enjoying work with all ages and skill levels.

I played 4 years of basketball at Principia College which is a NCAA Division 3 school. My senior year I lead the conference in scoring (19 ppg) and received Player of the Week, All-Conference Team, and All-Sportsmanship Team. Broke school record for most points in a single game with 42 points and currently sit 4th all-time in total career points with 1,305.

A typical session would depend on the skill of the client, but with a strong emphasis on fundamentals. The fundamentals include proper shooting form, ball handling skills and footwork. These three areas are crucial building blocks that must be established. I work on progression series, beginning with perfecting a simple move and then building off of it, which allows players to mix it up come game time.
