More About Coach Kenney

I ran soccer camps throughout my college career while at the University of Louisville and have been coaching at all levels while in the off season and doing player appearances throughout the LA area. I worked with ages 6-17

Two Big East Championships, College Cup Runner Up, Picked 2nd round in 2011 Super Draft. I have been playing with the Galaxy for three years and have won an MLS Cup and 2 Reserve League Titles.

I will focus on the basic skills of passing, dribbling, shooting, defending, and tactical playing of the game. Along with that, passing on some of the knowledge that I have learned from the great players and coaches that I have had the privilege of playing next to and under.

After watching my 12 year olds hunger grow for the game of soccer I decided to get him more help than I could offer myself. It was time to get a real coach involved. I went ahead and booked a training session with coach Kenny and I was not disappointed. We met Kenny and briefly spoke to him about what we were looking to get out of this training session. My son was looking to improve his ball control and also how to improve his field vision. After only 1 hour of work with my son, I watched my sons confidence grow and his ability to move the ball improve. Beside the actual practice session, Kenny also gave him some realistic goals and information as to what he should work on, both at home and on the game field. That evening he was still excited and went to work right away. The day after my sons session with Kenny he had a game, a great game. Following Kenny's tips, my son was able to create space and be a key element in his teams success by making great passes (that he worked on with Kenny).

I strongly recommend coach Kenny to anyone looking to make serious gains in soccer. He is a total professional, extremely engaging during his session, and very positive. My son said it best, "Kenny is a very good coach. He works fast but takes the time to explain everything and makes it fun".
