More About Coach Kellen

My coaching experience ranges from little league to the college level athletes. I have trained athletes in many environments: 1 on 1, small groups (2-4 athletes) and team workouts. My approach to the game is a strong mental one. I push for the best out of all my athletes and give the very best of myself to get the job done!

I was a high school stand out in Baltimore city, where I led the state in hitting as a senior in high school (.698). I then played one year of junior college baseball (BCCC) before singing with the Anaheim Angels in 1999. As a prospect in the Angels organization I trained under many top professionals and coaches in major league baseball. There I learned and grew as a professional athlete. Being able to learn the business of baseball as well as gain premium knowledge as a player and leader. After baseball, I joined the US Navy continued on to play baseball on the All Navy East team in Norfolk, VA. There I emerged as the team's leading power hitter.

Sessions are planned in accordance with the athletes wants and needs. I ask that the athlete show up early to get warmed up and stretched to be ready to go. I will initially assess the athlete to see what things need to be addressed. Then create an action plan to successfully achieve the goals we set together.

Coach Kellen is an awesome coach. He worked with my 14yo daughter on her hitting and tracking/catching. After just one session, she showed much improvement. At her tournament the following weekend she was awarded MVP by the other team, because of her big hits and awesome left field catches. We look forward to working with him again soon.

My daughter plays fast-pitch softball and worked with coach Kellen on her hitting. I must say he is very professional and easy to get along with.
