More About Coach Kayley

I have supported athletes from age 2-24, from managing youth recreational programs in McLean VA and Mountain View CA, to supporting NCAA DI 2019 National Champions (Stanford Women’s Soccer). I have coached in the DA and GA platforms (Washington Spirit and Albion SC Las Vegas) with HS aged players. I hold a National Youth Diploma, TOVO Barcelona Certificate, and USSF B License. Prior to entering coaching full time- I taught in a high-performing public charter school in Northeast DC and have my teaching credentials.

I competed for four years at The George Washington University (NCAA DI, Atlantic-10 Conference) and served as captain. Before there were multiple National-platforms, my teams won State Cup in two different states (VA/MD). After college, I competed in the WPSL (Women’s Premier Soccer League), ProAm Futsal (DC) and ProAm Beach Soccer (CA). I most recently competed in la major (men’s league in Las Vegas) and in the WPSL with Atomic City FC.

I can’t prescribe what I haven’t yet diagnosed - everyone’s needs are unique. For me, proper technique is often preached and not broken down to meaningful cues and repetition. You won’t see 100 cones and sticks and agility ladders and a bunch of things that might be challenging in and of themselves but fail to replicate the game. Instead, I break down simple movements that require great focus and diligence to execute properly and help reinforce the habits that are practiced at the very highest levels. Practice makes permanent, not perfect. Great is simple done VERY well.
