As a former Division I athlete, at the University of Dayton, part of my responsibility was to provide coaching instruction during skill or recruiting camps, particularly in hitting with the ages ranging from 6-18 years old. While my specialization is in hitting, I also have experience coaching younger athletes pitching.

I played 4 years at the University of Dayton (DI - Atlantic 10 Conference). In high school, I tied the IHSA home run records, with 18 home runs my Sophomore season. I was a starting first baseman at the University of Dayton, leading the team in RBIs and slugging percentage. Along with hitting, I also have knowledge of fastpitch pitching. I pitched all four years of high school and during collegiate scrimmages (to fellow D1 athletes).

A typical session will be enjoyable and beneficial to the athlete. I believe that for a hitter to be effective, they need to be relaxed and enjoying it. I also believe in a strong mechanical basis. I will aim to teach the athletes how to develop a fast swing and proper weight transfer, as well as a large bat plane to maximize the potential to make contact. A typical hitting session will include both tee work and front toss/pitching machine. If athletes are interested in pitching lessons, a typical session would include building a foundation of strong fundamentals for maximum speed and accuracy. Many of the hitting and pitching drills that I will implement I have learned directly from Division I coaches.
