More About Coach Kate
I have been a private pitching coach for over 8 years. I coached varsity softball for 3 years. I played at the University of Georgia which is a division 1 SEC college. I absolutely love coaching and teaching my girls how to be strong physically and mentally.
High School:
-4 year varsity athlete
-Murrieta Valley High School (My first 2 years)
-Vista Murrieta High School for my last 2 years (I was the first graduating class)
-Played travel ball for Minors Gold, OC Lionettes, and Gordons Panthers
College:
-I was at the University of Georgia on a full scholarship
-I was national player of the week a few times
- I was ranked one of the top strike out pitchers in the Nation at UGA
Lessons are 30 min. I also offer an hour if necessary. Mechanics are extremely important for my students. We go through all of our drills which they should have perfected on their own time. I make sure all the mechanics are correct before we get to the mound. Then we focus on each student's individual needs at the time. I teach the mental game as well. The earlier an athlete learns the mental part of the game, the more successful they will be!
