More About Coach Kara

I’ve been training young athletes since i’ve been 12 years old from the ages 9-14. I’ve taught kids in small groups with 1-5 kids and I typically do 1 on 1’s.

Currently, I am attending FGCU. I held the national juggling record at age 12 with 7,150, I’ve attended National Soccer Camps and made a Region III team that got to travel to England to play the England National Team along with other clubs.

My sessions include lots of touches on the ball, using all surfaces of the foot and including both feet. I begin with a dynamic warm up a few minutes long, hop into ball touches and performing different moves with all surfaces of the foot. Then typically, move into a passing drill containing movement off cones (players) in a game situation. After that, usually depending on the position player play I would make adjustments and focus on the tactical side of that position and their movements in situations.

Kara is a great coach. My daughter had her first lesson and was doing things I wouldn’t imagine her able to do. Kara is very patient and will keep working until they get it right.
