More About Coach Juliano
I was born in Brazil and started training for triathlons in 2000, at Amaral Triathlon in Curitiba, Brazil. My coaching philosophy is athlete-centered and based on communication, commitment, consistency and balance.
I aim to establish a healthy coach-athlete relationship and together, determine the best course of action with your best interests in mind. As a coach I like to be present in the training sessions as much as possible. By doing so, I can analyze your progression, see where you need improvements, observe your overall state, and then, if required, adjust the planned session to your needs.
I have experience training swimmers, runners and triathletes from beginners to advanced level.
I have been working as a coach for Triple Threat Tough triathlon club in Plano, TX and recently I have joined O2 Performance, in Westside Aquatic Center in Lewisville, TX to coach the master swimming team. I have been working with pre-adolecents and adults looking to improve their abilities in endurance sports as well their strength and conditioning. I hold a B.S. in Physical Education, USAT level 1 coach certification, USA Swimming coach certification, Ironman University coach certification and NSCA Personal Trainer certification.
I had the opportunity to compete from 5 k to Marathon in running and Sprint to Ironman distances in triathlon. My highlights are:

My training session is composed of a warm-up with an easy aerobic activity and dynamic stretching exercises, followed by technique skills, speed and agility drills, a main set targeting the ability or energy zone planned according to the client's annual training plan (e.g.. aerobic capacity) and a cool-down.
