As a speed & strength coach with Evo Sports Training, I work with elite athletes ranging from high school to professional. The average improvement in 40y dash time over a 3 month period is over 0.3 seconds shaved off. I majored in Kinesiology at CSULB and I am certified with USA Track & Field and as a strength coach.

I played football in high school and a variety of different sports and activities all the way up until high school. It was once I started college that I began the path toward coaching and the never-ending quest for knowledge of how to help athletes develop their speed, strength, and overall athleticism.

A typical small group speed session lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. The session begins with a very specific warm-up that has both a dynamic and technical aspect to it. It's here that I begin to break down movements, analyze imbalances, and teach the fundamentals of sprint mechanics. Moving forward, the core of the workout will focus on the different phases of your run, with an emphasis being placed on what each athlete needs the most improvement in.
