More About Coach Jose
I have experience in coaching starting in Argentina with Independiente de Neuquen. In the US, I worked for Fort Lauderdale Select Academy, I coached the pre-season conditioning training for Talladega college in 2014/15, and I was the Assistant Coach of Florida Memorial University (JV) for the 2015/16 season. In 2016 I worked in Orlando with Boca Juniors Academy with ages 6-18. After that I was Assistant Coach at Florida National University before moving to San Diego. Last year I was the coach for the Coronado Football Club (Coronado Youth Soccer League) Boys 2009, Boys 2007 and Girls 2004. In addition to coaching at academies and colleges I have also been coaching one-on-one and group sessions since 2013. Right now, I am working only doing privates lessons and small group training that is what I do best and enjoy more. At some point I will come back to train at university level.
I began playing professional soccer in Argentina when I was 15. I played for Independiente de Neuquen (1st team), San Lorenzo de Almagro, (U19) and Defensa y Justicia (reserve). After a knee injury I had to stop playing professional but was recruited to Florida Memorial University (FMU) to study and play in 2012. I finished my bachelors degree in Psychology degree in 2016. I played soccer with FMU for 4 seasons. I was the captain for 3 years, I won "freshman of the year" and two times I made it to "1st All Conference team". I also played Premier Development League (semi pro) with "FC Floridians". I also play and compete in Footvolley, a sport originating in Brazil that is essentially a combination of beach volleyball and soccer where players can use their feet, legs, head and chest to send the ball over the net. This is a highly technical sport that requires a lot of ball control, and I have found that incorporating training for footvolley into training for soccer is effective in improving technique. I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (certificate # 1190339587), and 200-hour RYT Yoga Teacher.
For the first session I like to do a more general session in technique, strength and conditioning. After that I will make a plan based on the needs of each player. Through my own professional career I have realized the benefits of effective training through technique, strength and mobility, and can plan training sessions to help players improve their skills, as well as help keep their bodies injury free. and also some tactical work if is need it.

My son had a very good first session with Coach Jose. He found the lesson very fun and enjoyable and he can’t wait to go for more lessons, so I have booked some more sessions. I can see that my son can learn a great deal from Coach Jose and I highly recommend him.

Coach Jose stressed technique with challenging drills. He was a great communicator and made sure we did everything up to standard before moving on. Great experience!

Scheduled Coach Jose very last minute yesterday for my 11y/o son. He was very accommodating, professional, and had a detailed session with a recommended location lined up, even with the short notice. My son is new to soccer and his team only practices twice a week. After our practice we received a summary on how the practice went, how our son was playing, and techniques he could work on to help him get better. He was very patient when working with a younger individual. It was a great opportunity to learn about CoachUp and find someone who would work with our son. We would definitely recommend Jose, and would book him in the future when our schedules permit. Thanks again Coach!

Fue un placer trabajar contigo, tu experiencia como jugador es clave. Le enseñaste a mi hijo, cosas en 1 hora que no había aprendido en 1 año con su club.
Your experience as a player is key, you taught my son in a hour things he did not learn in a year with his club.

Coach Jose is great, since the first practice seesion he starts helping you improve your weaknesses and thoroughly explains the exercises, tips, and correct movements . Overall he creates a fun and dynamic practice well fitted to the athlete's skills and experience in the game. I really recommend him! He is also very flexible with his schedule and where the training takes place.

Jose is one if the best player I have ever seen, he have experience of playing professional in Argentina and a lot of experience in soccer. He could still be playing professional overseas but he came to US to study sport psychology. He knows a lot about the game, and how to prepare others to be at the best level possible physically, mentally, technically and tactically. That Is why I offer him to be my assistant coach in Florida National University. And the most important, he is a very nice human being.
