I have been exercising and competing in various sports since 1977 including triathlons. I have always explored other sports to enhance athletic performance so I tried weight lifting to become a proffessional triathlete and that led to bodybuilding in 1988.

1977 to 1988 were my years of athletic dominance and unfortunately my health deterioated due to bad eating habits in the last month of 1988. Studying health and nutrition up to 1996 helped me finish the 2001, "Big Rock Triathlon", in Southern California, 45 minutes behind the first place pro triathlete.

I needed a new challenge and started taking up golf from 2001 to the present day. What has helped me to be competitive in a wide variety of sports is practicing the core-basic fitness movements of stretching, aerobics and bio-mechanics.

People have asked to workout with me because I knew how to push myself to failure without fear. At age 45 I feel that I should pass on my experiences as a athlete to students.

My triathlon accomplishments were during the 1980s. They include 1 to 3rd age division place finishes in the Bakersfield Triathlon, Chino Sprint triathlon and Desert Princess Duathlon.

Perfect form and the same pace per minute are key to endurance sports. This is done on a loop course. I will look at the triathlete to make sure the same pace is kept without going to slow or to fast. A stop watch is key. Tuning into the body is key. Continuous loop course is key.
