More About Coach Jordan

Through my 5 years of coaching, I have trained athletes of all levels (7-Year-Old - Pro Athletes - Master Athletes) to channel the athlete within. I help others with the mindset, skillset, and strategies, as well as fitness to perform at their highest level. Before moving to San Diego, Ca I worked as the Director of Sports Performance for Decater Performance and Fitness in Issaquah, Wa. In addition to working with Mount Si High School's Athletic department in different roles as a lacrosse coach, strength and speed coach. My joy is helping athletes reach their next level of performance, whether that's making the team or getting a college scholarship.

I played College Lacrosse at Pacific Lutheran University. I was a two-year team captain. My specific athletic accomplishments were being a team leader and captain.

I focus on helping athletes learn how to take care of their bodies while training for competition. My goal is not to make them the best weight lifter, but a better athlete. In this way, what we do in the gym and the field, directly transfers into better performance. In my sessions, I focus on finding the exercises and mobility work needed to apply the right stimulus and amount of stress on the body to get the results we want to achieve. This is done through an assessment, where we take the athlete through a series of physical tests to determine where the athlete is and what will help facilitate better performance.

While each session will vary in what the specific athlete needs are, a general flow could follow this.
Soft-Tissue Work
Mobility and Preparation
Dynamic Warm-Up
Speed or Power Training
I use a three-phase approach to speed training. The first phase is Isolating Movements and Speed Patterns. The second phase is to Integrate, where we integrate patterns into drills where we can establish habits. The last phase is Elevate, where we put these situations into true agility situations, where the athlete has to respond to various stimuli.

Client Reviews

Training harder means that you show up every day, with a positive mind and a goal, and that you do whatever it takes to reach that goal. It means that you have to adapt to how your body feels and find out what it needs so that you can finish in better shape than when you started. It means competing with yourself and with everyone else around you. Most importantly, it means having fun during the process. Training harder is the best way to train.
Simply put, Jordan knows what he’s talking about. His training model is designed to get you performing better on a daily basis and I guarantee you’ll see results fast. Whether you’re an athlete or an everyday person who wants to get stronger, faster, and more mobile... Jordan’s your guy.
