More About Coach Jon
Since graduating college I have worked with hundreds of athletes from various sports and skill levels.
- Winner Circle Athletics (Corona)
- Velocity Sports Performance (San Diego)
- Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego)
Most of my experience is in training both high school and collegiate athletes. I have experience training football, baseball, tennis, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball athletes.
I'm currently certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
While playing football my senior year in high school, my accolades included:
- First Team All-League
- First Team All-CIF
- First Team All-Inland Empire
- Riverside/San Bernadino All-Star game participant
- National Football Foundation Honoree
Following high school, I accepted a full-ride scholarship to play football at San Diego State University. While there my accomplishments included:
- 53 straight games played
- 27 straight games started
- All-Mountain West senior season
- 2 Mountain West Championships
When working on the field, athletes can expect a thorough dynamic warm-up to start for the first 10-15 minutes. Following the warm-up, the athlete will be put through various drills looking to improve running mechanics, acceleration, change of direction, agility, or other sports specific drills depending on what they are looking for. Sessions are roughly 1 hour.

Client Reviews
Lindsey G. (Testimonial)
Being a D1 collegiate athlete and having to train over the summer to get ready for the upcoming season, I joined Jon Sanchez Fitness with a goal to improve my running form/endurance and weight training. Through Jon Sanchez Fitness, I have received one on one training where I have been able to improve in all areas. He has also trained me on the turf working on agility drills and sprints, and I have noticed a tremendous difference in my endurance and fitness capability. Out of the weight room and off the field, Jon keeps me accountable with my diet to allow my body to perform at its best. With Jon you are not only getting a fitness trainer but a life coach who will allow you to achieve any goal you have in mind.
