More About Coach Joel

I was an Assistant coach for Legacy High School and also focused on training players at skill positions on a personal basis. I am best suited to work with youth of all ages prior to college.

I was a first team all state football player in NY state with Sports Illustrated honors. 3 time All star for offense. Section 6 offensive player of the year. 2 time All star on Defense. Post journal Player of the week 3 time recipient. Scholar player of the year, Cable 8 sports player of the week, Offensive MVP 3 time recipient, Team MVP 2 time recipient, Broke 12 school records. Jersey was retired. Army player of the week. Fessenden and Laumer player of the week and others. Went to a National Championship program for college and saw firsthand what training was needed to get to the next level. Pierre Garcon is my favorite example.

1. Learn their current status and areas that need the most development and positional determination
2. Establish fundamental and technique based on their current level, create starting point and Goals (positional)
3. speed and agility training with various drills (Every position) developing and changing over time.
It's an awfully daunting task to summarize training into such a small box. It really depends on their position, experience, strengths, weaknesses and goals. If they "have one summer to make varsity" their training will be weighted heavily on expeditious training methods, assuming they have a firm grasp on fundamentals. I can prepare someone for the next level(college) however I do not have NFL experience and would recommend clients to someone more experience in the NFL arena if they are a college graduate looking for NFL specific training and preparation.

Client Reviews

I don't think you'll find someone more dedicated and caring. The difference with Joel was that he really actually cared. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing and I never had to question the value received. He even decided to waive a session fee when we weren't able to show up. We felt bad that he wasted his time going to the field to prepare but he assured us that it was no problem. He could have charged us but he didn't. I'll never forget his response. He said, "it's more a passion to help others reach for their dreams than it is a business". Based on what I saw from him, I genuinely believed those words. I was super impressed and would recommend him to anyone!
Thanks for your help coach!
Joel seemed to really care about my sons future. He took the time to learn about him and his goals and then dove right in. He always made best use of our time. My son got injured in tryouts but I am confident he would have made Varsity from the help he received from Joel. Thank you for investing in my sons future!
