I have experience coaching softball pitchers of all ages and skill levels. I have about 10 years total experience giving pitching lessons and coaching, including experience as a Division I collegiate pitching coach at The University of Akron. I currently give lessons out of Mile High Softball and Baseball in Aurora, Colorado.

I played Division I softball at Miami University between 2008-2012. I was a four-year starting pitcher, and hold career pitching records for wins (102), complete games (117), shutouts (46), and strikeouts (1,021). I was named MAC Pitcher of the Year for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, and Miami University Female Athlete of the Year for 2011 and 2012.

My coaching philosophy is to develop young pitchers to have a strong foundation, focusing first of mechanics and then developing speed and accuracy. Once a pitcher is able to consistently throw hard and throw strikes, then I move on to working on other pitches, focusing on one new pitch at a time. In each lesson, regardless of pitching level, I like to focus on 1 or 2 specific things that I would like my client to take away for the day. Most importantly, I want my pitchers to have fun! Learning how to pitch can be a long process, but if we are having fun while doing it and enjoying the process, you will get so much more out of it!
