More About Coach Jessica

I have coached softball from ages 10 and up. I have conducted camps and clinics. I coached my first TAPPS team to their first playoffs with 5 beginner players.

I am currently coaching at John Paul II in Plano. I work with all age groups. It is never too soon to begin. The youngest I accept is 5. This is when T-ball begins.

I am also an experience personal trainer, so I have experience in sport specific strength and conditioning.

Still hold record for most stolen bases at Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, AR. 2001-2002. I also played 2 years at NTCC in Mt. Pleasant, TX.

You can expect a 5-10 warm-up followed by a quick assessment. Depending on what you feel is your main focus, we will move into that specific drill first. On a broad scale, we move from throwing technique to fielding technique to correct swing. I prefer to do the fielding and batting in separate sessions as batting can take awhile to tweak. However, in some instances I will combine if necessary.

Jessica is great! We had our first session with her last Friday and Emma had a great time! Very personable and great energy! She gave my daughter some great pointers and homework to do before our next session.

Coach Jessica is awesome! My daughter takes pitching/batting lessons and has learned so much in just a few sessions. Jessica always has a positive attitude and makes hard work fun. She will take the time to show, break down & explain to my daughter exactly what she is doing wrong and how to correct it. Jessica is never in a hurry and is always quick to respond if we ever have any questions outside of the lessons. She is also flexible when it comes to scheduling. Coach Jessica makes my daughter feel at ease and comfortable while working with her. My daughter is always excited to see her. I like that she gives her drills to work on for the week and keeps her motivated to do better and work harder. I would definitely recommend Coach Jessica.

Coach Jessica was terrific! She worked multiple aspects of softball with my daughter, breaking things down and explaining as she went. She gave reasons for stances and techniques and patiently worked with my daughter as she practiced them to ensure that not only was my daughter properly performing, but that she knew why she was being successful or struggling. She is a serious coach who expects hard work, but is also very funny and patient. She also was very helpful with us and explained drills we can practice at home. My daughter had a great time and learned a lot already! Can't wait for our next session!!
