More About Coach Jessica
I have coached athletes ages 8-18 in both indoor and sand volleyball. I have coached at multiple clubs including LBVC and Goldenwest. I have also coached middle school and high school volleyball ranging from 6th grade to the Varsity levels. I also have certifications in CPR, first aid, AED, concussion, sudden cardiac arrest and heat illness prevention training.
I have played volleyball since I was 12. I began in club and high school volleyball where I was named MVP and made it to the varsity team. I continued to play both indoor and sand volleyball collegiately. I played for Louisiana Tech (Division 1), came home and played for Misty May-Treanor at Long Beach City College, then finished my degree and volleyball career at Cal State LA (Division 2). I have been coaching volleyball throughout my college career and presently.
I will be charging for 1 hour session increments. The first 10 minutes (depending on the child’s fatigue or gestures) we will do conditioning. The next 50 minutes will be drills. I will do a quick evaluation and then we will work on all aspects of volleyball: passing, setting, communicating, hitting and serving. It is recommended to book multiple sessions for more time and more in-depth training.
