Client Reviews

I have a 7 years old and Coach Jesse teach him a lot of great techniques and drills.
He teach with patience and in a engaging way.
My son loved!

I was looking for someone to work with my eleven year old son, when I ran across Coach Jesse's profile. After seeing he had vast experience in both playing and coaching soccer, I decided to book an initial session to see if he would be a fit. After observing the first session, I was very impressed. As an observer, I noticed Jesse was very thorough in explaining everything he was teaching, he explains the mechanics of what he is teaching extremely well, like foot placement, body positioning, body balance etc... He is also very engaging with my son, asking questions about what he is teaching, really working the mental aspect as well as the physical. I also liked the pace of the session, he keeps it moving, not only is my son learning, he also gets a nice workout. My son really liked the initial session, and I was very impressed, so I immediately booked more sessions. I looking forward to having Jesse as a long term coach for my son. I would highly recommend Coach Jessie.

I can think of 3 coaches that trained me to be capable of playing soccer at the Division 1 level. Jesse is one of them. Jesse coached me on an individual and small group basis for three years in high school. Before working with Jesse, my confidence was low and my ball skills were below average. His training sessions worked on the total athlete, or total the total person rather. I learned both soccer skills and life skills from Jesse, and to this day, I am grateful for his impact on my life as an athlete and person. He is also one of the reasons why I am now coaching, ten years later.
I first had Jesse as a coach in 8th grade for FC Milwaukee. Under him he not only taught our team how to be better soccer players, but how to conduct yourself for the future using soccer as a teaching tool. He always was in touch with each of his players, and every detail was never overlooked or deemed to small to improve on, which for me is a vital attribute as a coach and a mentor. Teaching players at a young age to push themselves on the field, off the field, and to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally stronger is probably one of the most valuable lessons I have ever learned. Jesse always had patience for all of his players at every skill level, and as long as they continued to apply themselves and worked hard for Jesse and for themselves. He personally helped me greatly with my technique and mental aspect of the game, as we still keep in touch often and he still is not only giving me advice on my soccer game, but other aspects of life that I consider invaluable. Knowing the game is part of being a good coach, but two other very important parts of being a great coach is knowing and identifying your players, and beign able to make them better on and off the field. I still haven't met a coach yet who has consistently helped out as many youth and college players as Jesse has. I would consider Jesse an expert coach, but an even better judge of character and evaluator of the player psyche and ability. His professionalism is top class in terms of punctuality, communication and organization. I highly recommend Jesse Rosen
As a player, Jesse as been a constant pillar in my life. From my pure developmental years in my youth to the start of my professional football career, Jesse has been a source of guidance and motivation. Not only does he have the passion and creativity a coach needs to continuously make mastering technical skills a priority for his players; but, also provides environments for tactical discussion and critical thinking. I still take advantage of Jesse's brilliant coaching mind to further my goals as a player and use him as a mentor for my aspirations to coach in the future. His coaching philosophies from physical to mental preparation, and obvious passion for the game, are second to none.
There hasn't really been a mentor or coach either on or off the soccer field that has impacted me as much as Jesse did. His love for the game was the first thing I noticed about him, along with a deep interest in every one of his players, both on and off the field. When Jesse became my coach, he challenged my leadership and knowledge of the game, immediately finding out what I am capable of, and how far he could really push me. I hated it, but like any successful boss, Jesse very quickly learned exactly what this group of young athletes, my teammates, were all about. Whether being future aspirations on the soccer field, how to carry ourselves in the real world, or how to develop a fully dedicated work ethic and passion for those around you, before yourself, Jesse showed me first hand how to be successful. He was the one that told me I could play Division I college soccer. He engraved the habits into my game to be successful. He certainly taught me the value of taking nothing for granted, and building my character off the pitch just as well as on it. However, the most valuable thing that Jesse offered me, was to show me how to lead, how to be a leader in everything I do. He taught me how to develop relationships with different types of people, and how different players respond to different types of leadership to get the job done as a whole unit. This leadership I will take with me regardless of the team I play for, the company I represent, or the relationships I create. Jesse has been a very influential mentor, teacher, leader, and, above all, friend throughout my growth as a soccer player and young adult, and I feel blessed to have had the privilege of Coach Rosen supporting me for all these years.
Jesse is one of the best coaches I've had. He was patient and willing to work with me whenever. As a freshman helped me develop myself as a player, teammate, and person. We started with proper dribbling technique, and progressed to much more sophisticated moves through a progressive drill. I liked this progression so much that I used it before every practice and every game. It allowed me to check my technique, as well as build confidence in my abilities. I consider Jesse an expert in technique and in player psychology, because he understands the player's needs, including the highs and the lows players go through during their career. He was a great person and was always on-time and professional. I highly recommend Jesse.
