I have both played and followed soccer for my entire life. I am 25, and have played extensively at a competitive level, including captaining the varsity squad at my high school in Littleton, CO in 2006, and playing all through college. I currently compete on a state champion men's league team, so my abilities and feel for the game are still sharp.

I have experience working with youth, specifically in the 9-13 age group, but feel very comfortable working with younger or teenaged players as well. I am a very patient coach who thrives on efficient communication and a positive attitude at all times.

A typical session with me would consist of a well-rounded gambit of all aspects of the game, from proper pre-game preparation (warm-up, stretching) to on-field strategies (formations, positional responsibilities) and technical skills (passing, shooting, trapping, first touch, etc). I will also tailor each session according to the specific needs of the player, and work more on skills that they both want to improve and enjoy.

As an avid follower of soccer around the world, I have knowledge of not just how the game is played, but also why it remains a cultural phenomenon worldwide. I will pass this education on to my players so that they can not only love the game, but appreciate it. This is the key for long-lasting enjoyment and the will to improve.
