More About Coach Jean-Marc

I currently hold a US soccer F and C National license. I've coached in Malaysia, Taiwan and the U.S.. I'm the co-founder of JMAFA a soccer academy in Haiti. I routinely go to Haiti to do soccer clinics for kids and coaches alike in the academy.

I have been a professional soccer player for the past decade. I've played in the MLS for four years, 3 years at real salt lake, and a year at San Jose Earthquakes. I've captain my national team Haiti, where I've played against Brazil, Italy, and Spain. I played overseas in Malaysia for two years.

A typical session with me would start with a dynamic warm up that will last no more then 10 min. After the warm up i will go through some technical drills design for skills that my client needs to master with the ball i.e first touch, awareness, passing, vision, and ball control that takes a lot of repetition no more then 3 different drills. Spending about 10 min on each. I will then do specific drills to target my client's weakness in his specific position to turn them into strengths for the last 15 min. After that a little cool down and stretch for 5 min, and the session total time is usually 1 hour to 1:15 min
