More About Coach Jayton

I have over 35 years of playing, coaching, managing, and leading. I strongly believe to start coaching athletes as young as possible to build their confidence, hand-to-eye coordination, motor skills and discipline. While speed and agility is my passion, I carry that spirit while coaching soccer, basketball, football and golf from 4 years olds to 17 year olds. I intend to start 1 on 1 coaching soon with collegiate athletes.

Texas 3-A State Basketball runner-up in 1998.
1998 state golf tournament and currently hold the Regional low round score of 68.
2-Time Golf Club Champion (2 different locations)

I offer extremely disciplined training clinics or sessions without wasted time. I hate clinics or camps where there is a lot of wasted time not participating. My passion is speed and agility and preparing the athlete to be mentally prepared.
To start the session out, I will offer a bit of current motivation and reflection for just a couple minutes to start getting the mind right. Then a typical warm up that varies from day to day. A quick water break, before we get into an intense and very disciplined training session whether it's speed and agility, QB drills, RB drills, soccer footwork drills, etc, with quick water breaks in-between as needed. I always end with positive criticism and a challenge to get better the next day with a moderate cool down.
