More About Coach Jay

Through the teams I’ve played with, I have had the privilege to coach academy players in individual private sessions.
I work any age group that is willing to learn and has the patience to put the work in; from first starters to experienced players that want to fine tune their game.

Professional Experience:
Current Professional Player for ASC San Diego
Played for Leeds United youth team until U18
A collegiate player at Northwood University & Lubbock Christian University
Coaching doesn't only benefit the client but sharpens the skills and abilities I developed through teaching others.

My sessions involve game like intensity exercises, vary from individual skill honing, mixing special awareness to be able to either implement skills and further beating a player. We will normally go through a low to medium rep count exercise at the highest level of intensity while giving enough break to replicate game-like scenarios. I heavily emphasize technical drills, especially with younger players. Moreover, I will always incorporate some kind of agility/speed work, with and without the ball.
Variation on first touch in order to beat a player in different circumstances.
Finish session with game related scenario to practice what has been learnt.

Client Reviews

Jay is a great coach! Hi has been energetic, thoughtful, and dedicated to improve my skills as a soccer player. Great drills and advice. If you're willing to train hard, he's the coach to work with.

My son had a great time working with Jay. They worked on agility, skills, and had a lot of fun. Jay is very nice, knowledgeable, experienced and I would highly recommend him.
