More About Coach Jason
I have a vast array of experience with all levels of athletes in different sports and I have my Masters in physiology and biomechanics and have lectured for the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as lectures privately for organizations and universities over subjects likes speed development and articulation issues related to the biomechanics of the squat.
I'm a private strength coach that has been certified as a strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as studied the American College of Sports Medicine clinical research to give me the experience I have to work with pro athletes that have been injured and rehabilitate as well as prevent injuries as well as developing the fundamental kinesiology and biomechanics of all sports in children to enable them to have their hips underneath them to be in an athletic position no matter what the sport and developing acceleration And deceleration (agility) as well as vertical jump amongst other strength and conditioning improvements.
I am a former college football player and track runner and have knowledge of many sports and train athletes in basketball, soccer, speed development camps for all sports, kickboxing, hockey, judo, MMA, baseball, softball and football.
Specialize in defensive back's football technique using proper body mechanics to make the movement more efficient and developing speed and agility to rise above the common athlete.
Experience coaching at the college level as a strength and conditioning that assistant at Texas Tech as well.
Four year starter as college football player (cornerback, safety, special teams) and conference Champion in the 400 meter hurdles as well as team captain.
Start with evaluation exercises to find out what needs to be worked on as priority first depending upon the goals and increase in intensity and volume to develop a specific program to make sure that plyometrics will be safely done at the max level when testing time comes.
