More About Coach Jacob

I have been coaching for 4 years now from women's college basketball to youth strength and conditioning. I have my degree in Kinesiology and Human Performance and hold the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I spent the last 2 years working with college athletes in strength and conditioning of almost every sport. Now I currently work with youth athletes ranging in the ages of 7-18 +.

I played College Basketball at Morningside College in Sioux city, Iowa. It's an NAIA Division II school. Before college I participated in Football, Cross Country, Baseball, Golf, Track and Field.

A typical session will start with footwork on the ladder. Especially in Youth athletes, I feel they need to learn how their body moves so we focus on footwork, breaking down (into an athletic position), change of speed, and many more drills and techniques depending on what the athletes focus is.
