More About Coach Iljant

Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of coaching and training athletes in soccer. I've focused on developing players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall fitness levels to enhance their performance on the field.
During my coaching tenure, I've worked with athletes at various levels, including youth leagues and high school teams. I've enjoyed the unique challenges and opportunities that each level presents, from nurturing talent at the grassroots level to fine-tuning strategies for competitive high school soccer.
While my primary focus has been on youth development, I've had the opportunity to work with a range of age groups, from elementary school students to teenagers. Each age group brings its own dynamics and learning styles, and I've tailored my coaching approach to suit the specific needs of each group.

I have played in NAIA DIVISON 1 with Oklahoma Drovers team. I have started to play soccer since I was 9 years old. I played for my home team Kf Skenderbeu. Then I transfered to U.S when I was 18 and I played for Oklahoma in division 1 for one year. After that I have played for Worcester State University for two years and for Anna Maria College for one year.

During a typical session with me, clients can expect a structured and dynamic training experience tailored to their individual needs and goals. I prioritize a holistic approach to athlete development, focusing on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental resilience.

I begin each session by assessing the athlete's current abilities and discussing their objectives. This allows me to tailor the session to address their specific areas for improvement effectively. We then move into a series of drills and exercises designed to target those areas while also reinforcing fundamental techniques and strategies.

Throughout the session, I emphasize the importance of proper technique and decision-making, providing real-time feedback and guidance to help athletes make continuous progress. I incorporate a variety of training methods, including ball mastery drills, small-sided games, and tactical simulations, to keep the session engaging and challenging.

In terms of physical conditioning, I integrate strength, speed, agility, and endurance exercises to enhance overall athleticism and injury prevention. Additionally, I place a strong emphasis on mental skills training, such as focus, confidence, and resilience.
