•Over 60 bouts as a US amateur boxer. He’s competed in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Coach Hilario has sparred in hundreds of rounds with many professionals at the now defunct Petronelli Athletic Club (Brockton MA) such as Rockin’ Robbie Sims (Marvin Hagler’s half brother) Sucra Ray Oliviera, Brain Powers and Mike Bonislowski, among others.

•An ability to teach through the use of timely and effective communication and demonstrates all aspects of the course’s subject matter. Uses natural discernment, empathy and patience to propel pupil.

•After receiving a primary education is self taught and published writer of a book in progress titled; Think1stBoxing, The Proper Education of a Fistic Intellectual.

•The ability to speak Cape Verde Creole and English fluently.

•Demonstrated a history of Youth Advocacy, dealing with adolescence in the juvenile court system over the past 14 years including Direct Care.

•Benefited from a rare and timeless boxing education by the late John L. Bonner who attended Stillman’s Gym regularly for ten years. Stillman's was the Boxing Universe from1921 -1959. Hall of Fame boxers Joe Louis, Archie Moore, Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep and Sandy Saddler all trained there.
