More About Coach Hans

Dutch licenced youth level and trained many kids between 10 and 18 years old. I was the head coach of STRAPS (South Texas Regional Adaptive and Paralympic Soccer) in 2012-2013. One of my players made it to the National Paralympic Team.

Currently holding my USSF C-license.

I am a professional soccer player for more than 15 years.
Started in the Netherlands at my hometown club Willem II Tilburg.
Played in the Europa League against AS Monaco with them after reaching the cup final.
Dutch -under 21- national team.
And I played in countries like Finland and Cyprus.

I am a four-year NASL (North American Soccer League) veteran who fills the traditional No. 10 role. I joined the Atlanta Silverbacks after spending 2014 with the New York Cosmos. I was also a member of the San Antonio Scorpions before that, including my award-winning 2013 campaign.

I won the regular NASL championship season 2012 and I earned a place in the NASL Best XI during my second year in the United States. Over the course of the 2013 season, I received the Garrison Award player of the year and I also added back-to-back Player of the Month nods in June and July and seven Team of the Week mentions.

I currently play indoor soccer for the Milwaukee Wave as a Midfielder and 2nd Forward.

Decision making is what controls our physical actions. Training the awareness of players on the field. There will be a lot of variation in the training session. I'm training the feet and the body but most importantly the training of the brain.

Great experience!

Hans is a great coach, he definitely knows what he is doing. He has really helped my 15 year old with ball control, shooting, and headers.

Coach Hans was amazing with my 13 year old daughter. She said he gave her the best tools anyone ever has and the best workout she has ever had:)!!!

Coach Hans is an excellent coach! My 15 year old daughter has learned many new skills to improve her soccer play. Coach Hans is very patient and made my daughter feel very comfortable during all her sessions. He has built her confidence level up tremendously. He even worked around her foot surgeries, giving her the time she needed to heal. I would definitely have him coach her again. I recommend him highly!

Coach Hans was absolutely superb! He works great with teens and adapted his session to the skill level. He was very encouraging and focused on making soccer fun, enjoyable and exciting!

Great coach, gives useful feedback from a players standpoint. His drills always keep me on my toes and demand focus.

I'm very pleased with the coaching provided by Hans. Coach Hans has very strong technical skills coupled with even stronger coaching skills. The net result is his ability to quickly evaluate my daughter's strengths and weaknesses and establish training that improves both. In addition, his coaching style is relaxed & aware which allows him to connect with kids he coaches. It's been a very positive experience for my daughter.

Coach Hans has been excellent for my son to work with.
I am very impressed with his soccer knowledge, style, and engagement with the group. Also, he is incredibly well-organized. He comes to each session with a set of different drills which makes for a fun and impactful session. The drills & moves he is teaching my son during the sessions, I have seen a carry over onto the field. Definitely will be signing up for more sessions.

Hans is a great coach. He has helped our son improve his foot skills and motivates players via fun drills to improve each day.
