More About Coach Hakan
After more than 20 years of experience playing in Germany, I decided to move to Miami, FL… where I coached from 2016-2022 high school and competitive youth soccer. Following 5 years of successful period of player development, I then decided to move to NYC, where I’m since 2023 coaching with the New York Red Bulls - Youth Programs - EDP Premier Level.
I was born and raised in Germany, where I played soccer throughout my youth career with SSV Ulm 1846 in Germany’s Junioren Bundesliga and later semiprofessional in Germany’s Oberliga and Verbandsliga divisions.
My focus of coaching is on… improving all-round technique, improving the decision-making of a player, making them faster, and bringing a level of game intelligence and intensity to their play that sets them up for a future pro-environment.
