Client Reviews

Coach Kalle has been an excellent coach. He has helped my son to focus on specific skill areas to support and enrich his soccer field play in a very short time. Coach Kalle cares about the physical and mental well being of his players to help them excel at soccer. His coaching style focuses on bringing out the best athlete in a player and his tremendous experience and expertise, motivates and challenges his players to excel on and off the field. My son is very happy and motivated to be working with Coach Kalle.

We booked an exploratory session with Coach Guido to see where my daughter fit into the training regime he has running currently. He was patient but unsparingly honest and provided excellent feedback over the ninety minutes and we thought every second worth the cost. We'll be booking more sessions.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I was approached by Guido Kalle as to whether I’d be willing to write a reference for him and I am delighted to do so. I have been involved with Coach Kalle through my role as captain of the George Fox Men’s Soccer team in which we have worked together for the duration of the 2016 collegiate soccer season Coach Kalle has brought a lot of experience into the George Fox program from many years as both a player and a successful coach in Europe. Through close and respectful liaison with the Head Coach he was able to affectively incorporate this experience and global ideologies to develop both individual players and the program as whole, adding another dimension to the team. Coach Kalle put in a large amount of personal time away from the field and university in analysing the team through methods such as film of both games and specific practice sessions. He would use this analysis to develop innovative session plans and drills to specifically target weaknesses in both the team, and individuals play, helping to develop players in both scenarios and positively impact the team. A particularly impressive aspect of Coach Kalle’s approach is his desire to learn and to improve himself. Guido would have regular discussions, not only with other soccer coaches, but also with coaches of other sports, strength and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, and members of the team among others as to coaching techniques as he was always looking for ways to be more effectively and to give more to the program. Coach Kalle had a plethora of tactical knowledge that he provided to the team and adapted to the requirements, both in a game scenario but also through development of both the players and the program. He assimilated into the culture in this program and had a very positive affect on it. If there are any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Rowan Blake
This letter of recommendation is written for Guido Kalle in reference to a pursuit in applying for any trainings with athlets. I do this with much pleasure because of the mutual respect and admiration I have for him as a fellow coach/colleague as well as a friend. I had the pleasure of meeting Guido on the NSCAA National Advanced Coaching Diploma course 2010, where I quickly recognized his passion and professionalism for coaching soccer. Guido’s biggest assets come from his years of experience in coaching in a professional environment back in his native country of Germany. Guido’s professionalism is clearly exuded by his ability to carefully put together a high level training session and conducting the training session in a commanding manner that allows for his vision/theme for the session to be easily understood so that the sessions’ purpose of improving the player as well as the overall team is achieved. Guido’s professional coaching skills can be easily described as honest/ethical, hardworking, natural leader and ambitious. His goal has always been to coach soccer in a College/University in the United States in order to help improve and further the soccer culture in this country. I feel that if we employ many coaches like Guido, soccer in this country will be taking a big step forward.
My mentor, Guido Kalle, is not only an outstanding coach but an outstanding role model who has changed my life, along with many others. My name is Hanna de Haan and I am a soccer player at University of Portland. I first met Guido when I was a junior at SuS Timmel in Germany. I was a bad youth goalkeeper, slow, low response capabilities, couldn`t catch high balls and didn ́t have many other skills what you require as a good goalkeeper. I wasn’t the player I wanted to be.I met Guido in July of 2010 and we began to work my on goals. Guido made me realize all the things that were holding me back. I always felt I had someone to talk to when things weren’t going right and he was always there for me during hard times. The way Guido talks to his athletes is the most motivating and inspiring thing I have ever heard. With Guido I worked harder than I ever did before. Guido helped push me to new limits where I had never been. As an athlete I feel being coached by someone who excelled in the game the way Guido did is an awesome thing. Within just four years, he has made me to what I am today. From an amateur player to a! professional player who played at PEC Zwoll ( First League ) or at Werder Bremen ( 2.Bundesliga ) and transferted 2014 to one of the best soccer program in the NCAA Division I ( Portland Pilots ). Guido also expressed to me the importance of academics. The past semester he told me always to give my best!and I’ve had the highest GPA I’ve ever had (3.75). I truly believe that any athlete who has the opportunity of being coached by Guido Kalle is very fortunate. Guido Kalle is a great person with a great character. I guarantee that Gudio Kalle can and will turn anyone’s life if given the opportunity. I am forever thankful for this man, without him I might have really screwed my life up.
