I am currently the head softball coach at ASA College-Miami and I want to increase the knowledge of softball and teach the fundamentals to today’s young players.

I’ve also coached at Ottawa University in Kansas and Keiser University in West Palm Beach, FL.

My coaching experience ranges from assisting top notch Division 1 coaches in clinics to assisting travel ball coaches in softball camps. I can work with any and all ages between 10 and 18 years old.

I've played for many different coaches over my fourteen year softball career and it made me realize what kind of coach I want to be. I want to be a coach that leaves a good impression on a player. To make someone want to continue playing the game because they love it.

I played softball at the collegiate level and loved every minute of it. I played at Santa Fe College, Bethune-Cookman U and Lynn U. My team competed in the NJCAA National Tournament after winning the Atlantic District college softball tournament. We traveled to St. George Utah and had the opportunity to compete against the best JuCo's in the nation, I made second team all conference and all-state as a freshman. We also finished 9th in the nation that year. At B-CU, we competed against some of the best D1 softball schools in the nation, making it all the way to the Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference championship game and falling by 1 run to FAMU. I transferred to Lynn University for my senior season to be closer to home and had a good year, earning the Sun Shine State Conference player of the week and D2 Hero of the week honors.

Playing softball my whole life, I'm a well rounded player. I was a power hitter and infielder playing first base, third base, catcher and even a little outfield. Playing under Coach Tori Tyson at B-CU, I learned many drills and techniques to help better a player.

The session would depend on what the client wants to work on that day, could be offense, defense, or softball based conditioning. I want to take advantage of what the athlete can bring to the table and make them better and stronger.

Offense: we would run, stretch and do drills before the client even touched a softball. follow through drills, bat angle drill, any thing that will better them as a hitter. Then we would get into some front toss, hitting machine and then live toss.

Defense: run, stretch and then drills. Glove work, footwork, range. Then we would go into live ground balls, Intertwining it with the drills we worked on previously, glove work, footwork and range. This will make the client into a top notch defensive player.

Conditioning: conditioning is never fun, but it comes with the package when the client signs their letter of intent. Therefore, it's better to start sooner rather then later. Playing in college myself I've learned many different methods of conditioning that bettered me as an athlete. I would like to pass that on to the next generation.

I also offer college softball recruitment videos, I will personally train the client and film them at the best of their abilities. Skills videos are a key requirement in the recruiting process, it gives the coaches a first hand look at the athletes abilities and if they will mesh with their program. This is a custom package that can be discussed further through messaging.
