More About Coach Gabriella
This is my second season as the assistant coach at Texas Southern University. I am in charge of assisting our Head Coach, strength and conditioning for our athletes, and the recruiting coordinator. I am also a club coach for Total Football Club U-11 and U-10 girls. I have worked with South Texas ODP for the past 2 years. I was a Head Coach for STX 04' girls at region camp in Summer 2017. I currently hold my "E" License.
I have played soccer since the age of 6. In high school, I earned All District Midfield and All South Texas honors my sophomore through senior years, while being named captain my Junior and Senior years. I attended Texas Southern University from 2010-2013, earned a starting spot for every game all 4 years of playing, and the captain spot my Junior and Senior year. I was Offensive MVP my sophomore and junior year. I was named SWAC Offensive player of the week 3 times in my collegiate years.
We will focus on a technical warm up for 10 minutes, including dynamic stretching and agility. From there we will move to small touches on the ball through cones with different patterns. Then move to passing and moving and connect that to finishing on goal.
