More About Coach Francesco
I have been coaching soccer for the past 14 years. My coaching is based on the principles I learned from my father who played semi-professionally in Italy as well as my own club coaches during my time playing club soccer. I also incorporate drills that I find most beneficial from taking classes through the NSCAA and USSF.
I enjoy working with players of all ages and levels, but I have the most experience coaching teenagers. I currently coach at the New England Revolution Academy and also am affiliated with a high level club team. My specialties include offensive footwork, defensive footwork, 1v1 moves, team defending, field awareness as well as set plays and shooting. I focus when and how to use a move based on game situations.
I start my sessions with a warm-up followed by skill and footwork development that includes a lot of repetition so that the player learns by muscle memory.

Every session plan is custom tailored to the individual player's needs. We always start up with a dynamic warmup that includes ball mastery incorporated with dynamic stretching. Then move into topic specific activities.
