More About Coach Faik
I have 20+ years of playing and coaching experience. I am a former professional soccer player with experience playing in both the United States and Europe. I am a St. Louis native and graduated from Saint Louis University. As a D1 collegiate athlete, I was awarded with NCAA Assist Leader trophy for registering the most assists in the 2014 season. After my senior season, I was drafted by the MLS team Sporting Kansas City. My personal experiences allow me to give my players the confidence they need to succeed at any level. Most coaches focus on just the technical side of the game. However, my approach is to not only coach the technical side, but to teach how to instill good habits, to emphasize nutritional importance, and how to manage game day anxiety. To truly become the best version of yourself on the field, we have to make sure you're taking care of yourself off the field.
As a St. Louis native, I grew up playing club soccer starting from YMCA to Lou Fusz, to the SLSG Academy. After SLSG Academy, I transitioned into playing 4 years of NCAA Division 1 soccer before being drafted by Sporting Kansas City in the 2016 MLS SUPERDRAFT. I was awarded by the NCAA for registering the most assists for my sophomore season. My journey continued abroad where I gained experience playing in Switzerland and Croatia.

Before we begin the sessions, I like to speak to the athlete or parent to determine what goals we'd like to achieve. Depending on what the goals are of the athlete, I create a customized training session to help get the athlete to the next level as fast as possible. Each player receives a custom training report. The athlete or parents can expect to receive a summary of each training session and drills to help prepare for the next session.
