Responsibilities:
Training Sessions: Plan and lead weekly training sessions for a team of 12 players aged 10-11F. Sessions focus on fundamental skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and defensive techniques.
Match Preparation: Organize pre-game warm-ups, tactical discussions, and team line-ups before matches. Provide players with feedback on performance post-game.
Player Development: Focus on individual player development by assessing strengths and weaknesses and tailoring drills to improve each player's skill set.
Team Management: Foster team spirit, discipline, and communication. Act as a mentor to players, helping them grow not only as athletes but also as team players.
Game Strategy: Develop strategies for both offensive and defensive play based on the team’s strengths and the opponent’s weaknesses.
Parental Communication: Keep parents informed about practice schedules, games, and player progress via email and monthly meetings.
Coaching Philosophy: Emphasize fun, development, and teamwork. Create a positive learning environment where players feel supported and encouraged to take risks on the field.

As a young soccer player in South America I have played professional soccer at Division II in Club Estudiantes in Ecuador for 3 years, then in the US I have played College Soccer for 4 years at The University of Utah Soccer team. I did compete in both collegiate and pre-professional level and playing for top soccer Academy in Ecuador for 10 years as part of my development as player.
For young athletes usually sessions consist of:
1. Warm-up (10 mins): Dynamic stretches, agility drills, and light ball work
2. Technical Drills (20 mins): Focus on passing, dribbling, shooting, and the ball control through structured exercises.
3. Tactical play: Introducing game scenarios, positioning, and ball movement
4. Cool down: light jogging, stretching and brief discussion on key takeaways from the session.
