More About Coach Fabio
I hold a Brazilian coaching license via FPF (class "C"), as well as a National "E" license in the US. Currently, I am also part of the coaching staff at the Atlanta Silverbacks (professional soccer team in Atlanta, GA), as well as Assistant Coach to Coach Roberto at the United Futbol Academy (UFA). Additionally, I also hold a Postgraduate degree from The Johan Cruyff Institute in Sports Management and I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Football (Soccer) Management, also from The Johan Cruyff Institute.
I am a former youth player prospect from Brazil. I've suffered a career ending injury months after signing a contract with Sport Recife (Brazilian First Division). Today, I view my injury as a blessing in disguise, as it allowed me to dedicate myself fully to coaching; which has always been my true passion.
This is the layout of the first 2 training sessions with me:
00 - 05 min. Dynamic Warmup
05 - 15 min. Dynamic Agility Training with the ball (Back to Basics - passing with both feet, chest, volleys, and headers)
15 - 25 min. Dribbling Exercises (Quick change of direction) & Ball Control
25 - 40 min. Drills
40 - 50 min. Finishing (Both feet, as well as headers)
50 - 58 min. Anaerobic (fast-footwork, balance, speed & agility).
58 - 60 min. Session review & homework
After the initial 2 (two), one hour sessions, I will tailor the training program based on the player's goals and feedback.
