More About Coach Erik

I have trained youth kids from ages 8-15 at a beginner and intermediate level. I have trained kids individually and in group sessions In local parks. My ultimate goal during sessions is for the player to achieve higher specific technical and tactical skills, that the athlete needs to improve on to become the outstanding player on the pitch. Also, for the player to be ready for the next level, which could be academy, college or Professional level.

I attended Lakewood High School and was selected by my local college, LBCC, to play on their Men’s Soccer team from 2013-2015. Do to the exposure that LBCC brought me, I was then scouted by CSDH on an athletic scholarship to join their men’s soccer team. Though I agreed to join CSDH, I was also offered a once in a life time opportunity to try out for one of the biggest 1st Division Mexican League team, Club America. I played at a professional level in Mexico for Real Zamora and Yalmakan FC from 2017-2019. I became a 2 time Champion in the Liga Premier de Mexico 2nd Division Profesional. I have also had the great opportunity to play against LA Galaxy/ US Men’s National Team while representing a Semi- Professional team in the UPSL.

A client can expect to achieve greater knowledge of the game while achieving technical and tactical skills. I strive for my clients to become great players and leaders on the pitch. I provide time and experience to each client so that they can become confident in themselves and their abilities. A typical session, depending on the player, will start with a warm up session and leads into ball work. After observing my clients skill levels, I personalize the training session to work on drills that revolve around the position they choose to play. If In group sessions, we finish off with small side games with 2 teams.
