More About Coach Eric

I have been coaching for over 5 years focusing on swimming, cycling, running, and general fitness. I hold ACE and USA Cycling certifications. I work in clients homes and at TTE in Westport CT. I coach beginners to top AG athletes focusing on teenagers through masters. I work with clients to train better and train harder to maximize their potential in the shortest time focusing on form, fitness and the finish line.

I helped start the soccer program at my high school. I played soccer in college for LSU. I have been participating in Triathlons for 6 years and I have been coaching cycling, swimming, and running for over 2 years. I have placed first in my AG in many triathlons with a few top 3 overall placements. I compete and train for all triathlon lengths form sprint to Ironman distance.

My sessions are planned based on the client/athlete. First there is a Q&A with respect to the health and fitness of the client, then a base set of drills to evaluate the client's functional movement capabilities which are then followed by a set of drills based on the first two assessments. As sessions continue, the client is evaluated based on health/fitness/strength/technique and workouts are adapted for each session.

Client Reviews

I was on the fence about enlisting the help of a coach, but working with Eric has been the best thing I've done in a long time. He really helped me get on the right training path for an upcoming olympic tri. Within 5 sessions, I had a clear plan to achieve my personal best (as Eric says, it's just training math), and vastly improved form on the bike and on my run. I've been hitting targets in training and am excited to get my PR in the race in September. He is great to work with - knows when to push you and when you just need encouragement. He's also just a really nice guy. I highly recommend!
