More About Coach Emma
I have trained and coached in club and grassroots settings where my focus was developing on ball confidence and love of the game. As a player, I played at the club, varsity, and collegiate level. I specialize in fostering ball mastery and field awareness. I train players as people and work closely to improve physical (ex: fitness, weight training) and mental (ex: confidence, cognitive reframing) aspects of their game.
I played Varsity all 4 years of high school. During this time, I was named captain, PHAC All-Star Second-Team, and received a leadership award. I competed in various competitive tournaments with my club team. I played D3 soccer for two years. In this time, I played in 25 collegiate games with 15 starts as a freshman. I have experience training fitness and weight lifting at a collegiate level.
I treat players as individuals and tailor sessions to help them develop confidence in their identity as a player. Sessions typically will start with small cone drills, move into more dynamic movement on and off the ball, and then to more specific skill drills. I aim to make players well-rounded and to give them the tools to be who they want to be on the field. I encourage players to think critically about their practices/games and themselves as players. We will work together to create the best plan for you.
