More About Coach Eduardo

I have 7 years of coaching/training baseball and softball experience. I've had the pleasure to be an assistant coach at the college level as well as coaching travel teams. I am training baseball and softball players of all ages from 8 to adults. I specialize in hitting, pitching, fielding and physical conditioning. I have worked a many baseball camps here in Florida including VR Baseball Summer Camps 2015 and 2017 with Montverde Academy Baseball Coach Victor Rivera and also in Puerto Rico I worked with former MLB Baseball Pitcher Juan Padilla in his Pro-Dream Baseball Camp in 2007. Member or Select 30 Task Force in the Select 30 Baseball Championship Tournament at the ESPN World Wide Sports Complex at Disney World where I worked closely with other high level coaches as well as the MLB Players Association.

I graduated from Montverde Academy in 2007 where I help take the team to the FHSAA state finals class 2A in 2007 as team captain. I attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, TX where I had an amazing junior college baseball experience I was able to play first base and also relieve pitch. In 2008 I transferred to Alabama State University and finish my college career there playing at the NCAA D-1 level and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. l also had the privilege to play semi pro baseball in Puerto Rico. I was letterman all 4 years in high school. Junior year at Montverde Academy batting avg. 444 and 23 RBI. Senior year batting avg. 268, 6 HR and 27 RBI.

The workouts vary according to client's needs, focus, wants, section time,and/ or specialty. Nevertheless, the clients are beneficial to proper baseball techniques and conducted with safety. In a nutshell, I start my workout with a warm up session (stretching, jogging, etc.); from there I move to physical conditioning (speed ladder, exercises, agility drills, arm strength, and etc.); next is defense (throwing, ground balls, fly balls, catcher drills, pitcher drills, fundamentals, reinforce techniques, and etc.); afterwards is offense (having a mental plan, hitting drills, tee work, soft toss, front toss, reinforcing of techniques, and etc.); and finishing with the cool down section (cool down drills while talking about skills learned, skills that were corrected and other improvements to be worked on a following lesson). As mentioned earlier, the workouts are client friendly.

My son has just had his second lesson with Coach Eddie, he seems to work well with my boy and vise versa. He has really focused on technique which you will not get in a little league. They work well together and my son does not listen to many people. Coach Eddie seems to be really patient and does not waste any time he gets down to business. So far I am very satisfied.

Eddie Padilla is a great coach! My 7 year old son had his first meet and his baseball training went well. He responded excellent to Eddie and started doing his drills as asked of him at home. Eddie gave him confidence and has the patience. I’m curious as how his performance will be at his future baseball games. My son is looking forward to his upcoming sessions. The private sessions are great! Thank you Eddie!

My 9 year old has been to three sessions so far with Eddie and can't wait to go back. The coach has been really great with being patient yet firm with my son which keeps him focused. He has really worked hard to break my son's bad habits and taught him the fundamentals. I love that he makes sure my son knows how to do things correctly and questions him on what he has done wrong when he makes errors; this helps him to be self-aware and self correct. I would recommend Coach Eddie to anyone.

My grandson just had his first session with Coach Eddie and it was excellent. Coach Eddie is very thorough and stresses the fundamentals. He explains every technique he teaches in detail and then utilizes various drills to reinforce the instruction.

I have 2 sons (10 & 8) who love the game of baseball however need more guidance. Coach Eduardo was able to really work on their mechanics, locating weaknesses to improve their hitting. I also noticed that Coach Eduardo was very patient and able to really keep their attention. I spoke to both my boys who says they like Coach Eduardo and cant wait to go back!

Coach Eduardo was able to identify my 17 yr old son's strengths and weaknesses in one session. As a result he provided high-level feedback in a manner immediately useful to my son. Very good and effective session!

First session with coach eddy. He was personable and engaging. This session was for pitching, Logan was having an issue with command. Coach was quick to notice the ability, and quick to notice the mechanical flaw leading to the command issue. He fixed the issue and we discussed moving forward with continued mechanical improvement plus beginning to teach Logan pitch selection and sequencing. Overall a positive experience, coach seems willing and able to adapt his lessons to the pupils ability and needs.

My son met with Coach Eduardo for the first time yesterday, 5/4/2017. It was a pleasure to watch coach work with my son and watch the immediate improvement in his batting and pitching. It was quite amazing actually to see such an improvement in 1.5 hours when compared to his 5 seasons with other coaches.

Coach Eduardo has an excellent demeanor and was able to quickly develop a bond with my son. This in turn created a very positive and rewarding experience. My son was very excited after leaving and we are looking forward to our next sessions!

Coach Eddy did a great job. He was patient and evaluated my sons strengths and what he needs to work on and was right on. He has good knowledge of the game and my son enjoyed working with him

My company hired Coach Eduardo to be one of the guest coaches at our full day sports event. Coach Eduardo was really terrific and very qualified and prepared. He lead a batting skills lab with 28 youth athletes, and throughout the day, his amazingly pleasant and professional demeanor made the event enjoyable for everyone who worked with him. We are definitely looking forward to the next opportunity to hire Coach Eduardo. He's a wonderful coach and a fantastic person!

My son Andrew Bassant had his first coaching practice today with him he is an awesome coach my son learns a lot from him he want to go back practice with him again. I also have another son my husband wants him to coach my younger son.

Contacted Coach Eduardo for a batting lesson for our son. He replied quickly and we were able to set up a lesson that worked with our schedule. Great lesson. Our son enjoyed Coach Eduardo. He was able to make a few small adjustments to his batting and it has worked perfectly.

Coach Eduardo seems to be a nice humble person. My son really enjoy his first session with him. Will be booking session again. Thank. Devita

Hey Eduardo ! Thank you for teaching Tom. Your knowledge and caring for Tom has inspired me. Tom struggles with listening by getting distracted, bored or manipulated. Tom told me you are tough on him. That's encouraging, please stay strong and thank you.

Coach Eduardo is a great coach. My son had a pitching lesson with coach Eduardo. He broke down the throwing motion into easy to understand steps that my 8yr old son could understand. My son pitched a great game the next day, and after the game he told me he remembered all the steps that Eduardo taught him.

My son enjoyed his first training session with Coach Eduardo tonight. He learned some new techniques and exercises that he will incorporate into his everyday training. He also learned a couple of new baseball grips to practice.

We contacted Coach Eddie late in the day and he was so gracious to accomodate us on such late notice. Our soon to 10 year old son was in need of a lesson for a tryout he was having the following day. Coach Eddie was terrific with him and we are looking forward to booking him again.

Eduardo's experience and knowledge allows him to develop a quick connection with players from all ages enhancing the results in a short time.
