I believe that athletes, especially youth, learn best when they truly enjoy what they’re working on and don’t dread “working hard” at that activity. It’s the job of the trainer to constantly create fun, creative and engaging sessions for their players, while also applying the right amount of challenge to training. This is when you get the most out of an athlete!

Sessions plans are created based on three things:
-Age of the player
-Skill level of the player
-Motivation and goals of the player (desire to play professional, get a college scholarship, just play for the fun of it, or anywhere in between)

Sessions involve:
- maximum touches on the ball
- maximum decision making
- position specific training
- necessarily weight, hip mobility, core strength and agility training
- Creative play

Equipment at disposal to be used in training (for younger players, only bales necessary):
- Soccer balls
- Ladders
- Small goals
- Cones
- TimTam power massager for recovery
- Foam roller for recovery
- Balance equipment
- Coordination equipment
- Weights
