More About Coach Desi
I have been coaching for about 10 years now. I have coached professional and amateur baseball and softball players. I have only coached softball players for the past 3-4 years, but it is fun and the instruction translates beautifully. I work independently all around the world (Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, Nicaragua, Virgin Islands to name a few), with my travel baseball organization, the MLB, and MLBPAA. I typically work with kids ages10 and up.
I was an all-state, all-america in high school and was a 4th round draft pick of the Seattle Mariners. I played 17 professional seasons, 11 of which were spent in the majors with 7 teams.1991-

I typically like to assess the clients mechanics whether it's hitting , fielding or throwing. I can then see what it is they need work on and I devise a plan with any number different drills. I like to use film as well. It's a great way for for players to see themselves and exactly what they're doing. There is no one set way that I do a session. I will also deliver a more in depth professional approach from the mental side of the game that is priceless.
