My name is Derrek Child and I have ten years of experience coaching Jr. High and High School students. Do you want to run faster, jump higher, and be more explosive? If you answered yes I can help.

Each sixty-minute session is broken up into two distinct parts. The first half focuses on strength and conditioning, and the second half focuses on mobility, speed and agility, and explosiveness. Mix in a warm up and a cool down for a complete non-stop sixty-minute workout. Below is a standard class schedule.
• 00-05: Dynamic Warm Up:
o 5 Dynamic exercises, 30 seconds each and repeat
• 05-20: Strength and Conditioning, three training blocks.
o Each block consists of three minutes strength and two minutes conditioning.
• 20-50: Speed and agility Training, three- ten minute blocks
o Block one focuses on proper form.
o Block two focuses on quick movements (Ladder and cone drills)
o Block three focuses on acceleration and deceleration (sprints and change of speed)
• 50-60: Cool down and stretch

We have been so impressed with the workouts my son has been doing with Coach Derrek. We came from out of state and didn't want our son getting rusty, so we enrolled in the group lessons he offered. There were options for 5 night each week.
He broke down some missing fundamentals with my son and helps each step of the way. I can't wait for our Texas team to see what our kid comes back with knowing, and see how much he excels after these few weeks.
