Over 20 years of football coaching experience on College, HS, and Youth Levels
15 years coaching on the college level, highlights include 10 years as a Head Football Coach on the Junior College level, along with one as an Assistant Coach on the Division 1 FCS Level.
I hold a keen understanding of player development as demonstrated during my time as a Head Coach on the Junior College Level, where I helped develop over 100 players who signed D1 scholarships, and over 20 players who signed NFL Rookie Free Agent or better contracts.
Have also coached on the youth level, including my children's Travel Basketball, Pop Warner, and Flag Football Teams.
Also currently work as a Scout and Roster Analyst for Next Gen Prospects, which is a company that helps uncover potential recruits for college's and universities. Our client list includes over 20 Division 1 Power 4 Universities.
A four year varsity starter in High School, earning individual and team post season honors all 4 years.
Signed a Division 1 football scholarship to Central Michigan University where I played and matriculated academically.
I have a passion for working with and developing kids from the youth level through the college level. A pre workout discussion with parent and athlete will allow me too:
1. Evaluate the athlete's current level of knowledge of the sport, understanding of fundamentals, and athletic potential.
2. Discover the athlete's goals, both short term and long term.
3. Create a plan on how the athlete can reach both short term and long-term goals, while establishing benchmarks along the way to
measure improvement.
From this information I build each of the athletes Session Plan/Plans on these 5 Pillars:
1. Fun, they must enjoy the process of learning
2. Teaching fundamentals and mastering them with a detailed, yet easily digestible teaching aproach that will give them a competitive advantage on the playing field
3. Improving knowledge of Technique and Schematics which will allow them to have a greater understanding of the game.
4. Improving overall athleticism
5. Grow the athlete's confidence and belief in himself.
