More About Coach David

My coaching resume includes being head coach for U12 and U14 girls soccer team for Tiburon Soccer Club in Marin County California. In addition, I was Director of Soccer for Dominican University's summer soccer camps. As Director of Soccer I was responsible for creating sessions plans for campers and providing leadership training to aspiring collegiate soccer players. I often provided private 1 on 1 sessions with players in the Marin County area with aspirations to play in college. Upon moving to the east coast, I become head coach for a freshman high school team in Passaic, New Jersey. During my two seasons as head coach, I led our team to a 24-2-2 record and prepared our freshman to compete for a spot on Varsity.

- Four year high school varsity soccer player in California being named league MVP during my Junior and Senior seasons leading my high school team to a 31-3-8 record and leading my team with 48 goals in 4 years.
- Helped my team win back to back Sonoma County league titles.
- Selected to represent my states ODP (Olympic Development Program) team and tried out for the regional team.
- Santa Rosa United Club team was US club champion in 2006-2008 and National finalist in 2007.
- Recruited by multiple Division I and II schools
- At Dominican I started all games as a freshman and scored 5 goals during that year. I was second on the team in goals scored and was awarded 'Newcomer of the year' award. As a sophomore, I led the team in goals scored with 5, named team co-captain and earned Second Team All-PacWest and named teams 'Most Outstanding Player'.
- After college, I competed with an NPSL (4th tier professional) team named the Sonoma County Sol, loosing in the regional final game.

1. Dynamic warm up including speed and agility work to engage lower body and core.
- Soccer is a sport of speed, agility and balance. In order to be a top level player, players need to be able to have control
of their bodies and change direction/speed with and without the soccer ball.
2. Skill work
- Having the right touch on the ball and body control is arguably the most important development of a soccer player.
Being able to master control of the ball and have great touch is something that can and should always be developed.
Players like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo work on their skill everyday. I have professional equipment that we will use
during our sessions to make sure the player is developing their skill on the ball.
3. Finishing
- Being that I was a striker/forward in college, I have great finishing drills that will ensure the player is developing as a goal
scorer. The drills will include on the ball, and off the ball runs for finishing. The player will get a great feel on position as a
forward/midfield in order to be in the best positions to score. Finishing drills include speed and agility to develop the
players balance and power.
4. Cool Down
- My sessions always include a cool down to prevent injury.

Client Reviews

Coach David is doing a great job coaching our daughter to prepare her for the high school jv team. We would highly recommend him

David has been great! My son was looking to develop his technical skill on the ball and David's drills were perfect. He also has great energy and maximizes the time he has. I am excited to see how my son develops his skills as a soccer player.
