More About Coach Daniel

I have coached at all ages. My experience ranges from having worked summer camps with 6-18 year olds, coaching club teams, coaching private lessons for all ages, to coaching a middle school soccer team, and now having just finished playing i am now coaching at a local college program.

I grew up playing in the bay area and then played college soccer for UC San Diego in the CCAA with a team that reached the NCAA final four. I played semi-professionally for the Albion Pros in the NPSL.

For me it starts with why they play soccer, what the individual wants to get out of playing the game, and how they want to play it. From there i have a range of drills, exercises, lessons, etc that can match those needs.
If a client was indifferent, what i would emphasize in my trainings is first and foremost comfort on the ball; and depending on the age of the client this can mean several things. From there, again depending on level of competitiveness, i would begin to start focusing on soccer specific movements that can give the client some advantages in their field of play.

Client Reviews

My 9yr old daughter enjoys her training sessions with coach Daniel. I like the fact that he takes the time to explain why he is making her do certain drills and how it could help her in game situations. My daughter tells me she has learned more in these 2 sessions than she has in the 2yrs she has been playing. Coach Daniel has very detailed training skills on ball control, passing, and shooting. My daughter looks forward to her sessions with coach Daniel. Thanks coach for your help!!! We will definately keep in touch.
