More About Coach Damon
I am USSF D licensed Coach working on my "C". I have been coaching for 10+ years. Have experience coaching 4v4 all the way up to 11v11. I have experience coaching in the Us soccer ODP (Olympic Development Program)
and have taking teams to travel at US Club Nationals, Surf Cup and other highly competitive tournaments. I have coached for a few different clubs such as Kailua Kings, Oahu United, Escola Coxa Hawaii, and am currently coaching at Albion Sc Hawaii OA where I am currently the head coach of the 2014G's age group and the 2009 B Academy team (2023 US Club State Champions)
I have played in my youth and some highschool as well and still currently play futsal and Soccer for a team in Hawaii's top league MISO hawaii. I did not play in College or professionally but have been involved in the game for a long time and am a student of the game. I am committed to learning and developing my skills daily so that I can continually grow and improve as a coach, that way I can provide as much knowledge I can while developing players.
Teachnical ability is non negotiable for players that want to compete at a high level. I focus on technical skills first and worry about tactical execution later. Once a player has the technical ability to pass, dribble and shoot properly with both feet they become much more confident on the field and are able to separate themselves from just looking at the ball. They will be able to play with their heads up and can see the game. Depending on the individuals ability I can develop a session to focus on these 4 major pilars of a players game, Technical, Tactical, physical and Mental.

Position specific training and understanding (st, winger, defender, GK)
Tactical execution (how can you relate it to the game)
