More About Coach Cristal
After my collegiate years, I spent over a year as a head coach for Volleyball. I love helping young athletes build their skills. I teach at various levels. I have coached individuals with zero experience to high-level high school athletes who play at a club level. I am always looking for fun, creative ways to grow my athletes.
I have flourishingly taken in young athletes who have had scarce exposure and had them put on teams. Teams include MVSA, Metro, Sherwood HS, Watkins Mill HS, Wheaton, etc.
Everyone is welcome; under my care, there is a judgment-free zone filled with lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement
I was a dual athlete in college, including Volleyball and acrobatics. I was part of the vital four girls who joined our women's volleyball program at my university. Ultimately, throughout my four years as part of the team, I contributed to changing the history of our program. We continuously broke records and changed the culture of Volleyball on our campus.
I was our team captain for all four years and was granted several awards. I was primarily a setter but also have libero experience. The list of awards is as follows: Coaches Award 2016-17, MVP 2017-18, 2018 Women's champion winner, and USCAA All-American Award 2018.
