More About Coach Craig

I have been involved in competitive soccer as an AYSO, Southern California club team, U.S. Development Academy, High School, Division 1 Collegiate Athlete and USL/MLS draft participant (see my athletic accomplishments section). My philosophy toward becoming an elite player stresses fundamentals and working hard while making training a fun experience at the same time. I have coached at the high school level for Crespi Carmelite High School and club level ages 9-17 with North Valley Fusion F.C., as well as working soccer camps giving private lessons to numerous players (male and female) over the past 4 years in the greater Los Angeles area.
I have a passion for working with motivated players who are serious about improving their game. I feel through my experience playing 5 different field positions, as well as my knowledge of the club/collegiate/professional experience, gives me a unique perspective directing the young athlete to become an elite player in the U.S. system. I personally tailor my private sessions to meet my athlete’s specific needs by using my personal knowledge as well drills I have learned from multiple coaches. As important, I will provide advise from my personal experience on how best to navigate each stage of a players development and have them reach their ultimate goal, whether that be a club, collegiate or professional career.

Clients can expect a personally tailored session to meet my athlete’s specific needs as a player- depending on age level, experience, and position. My belief as a coach is to build a foundation for my athlete so their whole game elevates regardless of their position. My sessions last anywhere form 1 hour to 2 hours and include a thorough warm-up, technical exercises, and specific drills to help my athlete develop their overall game.
