My sessions tend to begin with teaching points about the main focus of the day, which is always a certain technique or aspect of goalkeeping. Once the teaching points have been adequately conveyed, we get into drills that are meant to show the goalkeepers the exact technique that they are meant to be using. Once the technique is properly mimicked in the first, slower paced drill, faster drills are used to get as many repetitions in as possible. My sessions are highly focused on technique down to very minor details, and I am always sure to stop and assist goalkeepers through the drills no matter the pace of the drill.
